In Jinsha Village , 60 kilometers away from the Sanxingdui site, archeologists found another historical site which was about 3,000 years old. The Jinsha relics were dated about 500 years later than Sanxingdui in archeology.

Among the Jinsha relics, there are artifacts made from gold, jade, bronze, ivory, horns, pottery and stone works of different sizes. There is one mysterious gold mask, only 3.74 centimeters long, some gold sheets in the shape of frog and an object shaped like a trumpet, whose use is unknown.

Here is a piece of beaten gold excavated in Jinsha.

This is a gold belt. Part of its decorations resembles closely the patterns carved in the gold crutch excavated in Sanxingdui, which are pictures of humans, birds, fish and arrows.

Ten jade badges were also found in the Jinsha site, some of which look very similar to those from the Liangzhu culture (dated to 3310 — 2250 B.C., a late Neolithic or Chalcolithic culture located in southeast China), and probably came from the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. But with the poor transportation at that time, how could those objects find their way from the lower reaches of the Yangtze River to the upper? It is still a mystery.
