    Based on its first and second editions, the content and form of Chinese Paradise are in line with children’s cognitive level, and the themes are close to daily life. Through entertaining stories, games and children’s songs, it combines learning with fun and stimulates learning interest, allowing students to learn Chinese language and culture in a natural and relaxing environment.

    Since its development, publishing, and distribution by Beijing Language and Culture University Press in 2005, Chinese Paradise has been published in 47 languages and sold to over 60 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Kenya, and more. It is currently a very popular set of Chinese teaching materials for children worldwide. The accompanying CD-ROM multimedia courseware of Chinese Paradise has won national awards such as Audiovisual Electronic Network Award of the Second Chinese Government Award for Publishing and the Best Animation Publication Award of the First Government Cultural and Art Award for Animations of China.
