Intelligent tutoring system(ITS), as an important subject for the studies on artificial intelligence, virtually covers all aspects of artificial intelligence and involves a number of fields, such as artificial intelligence, computer science, cognitive science, pedagogy, psychology and behavioral science, thus being a subject worth further research and multidisciplinary cooperation.
Based on a concise introduction to the basic method and theory of ITS, this book focuses on the construction of ITS, tries applying the research findings of natural language processing to ITS and establishes an extensive semantic relationship among the complicated types of knowledge within ITS.
