This book is the outcome of a long stroll through Beijing, illustrated by 50 photographs. Modern expansion is gaining ground. Traditional life as recorded in these photographs is becoming harder to find. Keeping purposefully off the beaten track, the photographer has walked in search of authentic, traditional Beijing. This stroll conveys the admiration of a foreigner for the little trades long lost in the West.
Fabrice DOUAUD was born in 1963 in Nantes,France.He started photograpy
when he was 18 yeas old.
Always fascinated with the beauty of landscapes,colors and lights,he shows his own vision without external artistic influence.Very much interested in human activities,he likes to show little jobs and especially craftsman jobs.
