Qilu Culture is an international
Chinese language education textbook for Chinese learners at home and abroad, which
combines the characteristics of the new era and regional culture. The textbook
is written in a “language and culture integration” way, carefully arranging the
language points and skillfully integrating different aspects of Qilu culture.
The book is divided into eight topics, including Hello Shandong, Natural Scenery,
Cultural Saints, Memories of Old Cities, Food Culture, Folk Art and Brand
Specialities, etc. The content is rather storytelling and fun, helping learners
to learn the language while gaining an in-depth understanding of the
contemporary Chinese culture and regional culture, and enhancing their
understanding of China’s national conditions and society.
Zhao Yue (Editor-in-Chief) has a Ph.D in literature
and is a lecturer and master supervisor, whose main research mainly focuses on
language and cultural communication, theory and practice of international
Chinese language education, curriculum and pedagogy, etc.
