This book makes systematic and thorough
analyses and studies on the 15 types of fu in the Selected Works. It is the
extension of the separate studies of the Selected
Works. Based on abundant document literature and using typology and
metrology, the author combines the literary analyses with the theoretical perspectives,
making the macro-examination and micro investigation echo each other, and connecting
the horizontal comparisons with the vertical development. She not only
discusses the classification of fu in
the Selected Works, but also explores
the name and origin of each type of fu,
analyzes the literary characteristics of the works collected. Through comparing
and analyzing other fu works not
included in the Selected Works, she
sorts out and summarizes the different creation characteristics of fu in different periods, clarifying the
development trends of the 15 types of fu in Han, Wei and the Six Dynasties, thus trying to seek the creation purpose of
each fu in the Selected Works against the background of the times.
