Li Yan is a lecturer of the Open University of China, whose research
mainly focuses on hybrid teaching model and distance Chinese course design. He
taught Chinese to undergraduates at BURAPHA University in Thailand from 2008 to
2009, and has traveled to the United States, France, and Italy for overseas
Chinese teacher training since 2014. From 2019 to 2021, he was a public teacher
at the Confucius Institute of Michigan State University, and engaged in the
construction of online Chinese resources and the teaching of AP Chinese courses.
Guo
Bing, a senior editor of the Department of International Chinese Education of
Beijing Language and Culture University Press (BLCUP), has edited and published
various books about teacher development, such as A Teacher’s Manual for the
Instruction of Chinese: Methods and Techniques and Chinese Grammar
Activities for the Classroom, and also planned, edited and published Thai
edition and Russian edition of Chinese Course(3rd edition) and other
classic textbooks of BLCUP. Prior to being an editor, Guo had nearly 6 years of
front-line teaching experience.
