and Practical English-Chinese Dictionary,
and published more than 40 papers. Prof. Yang was ranked as an “Excellent
Teacher in Beijing” in 1993 and 1995, an “Excellent Teacher in Teaching Chinese
as a Foreign Language” in 2002, and a “Prominent Teacher in Beijing Colleges
