This book teaches the specific methods of writing self-introductions, letters, emails, travel notes, narrations and expositions, and provides model writings and analysis. A workbook goes with it. The book takes no less than 76 class hours in total, with 2-4 class hours devoted to it per week.
Qi Hua is an associate professor in the College of Chinese Language & Culture, Beijing Normal University. Ms. Qi’s research focuses on linguistics and applied linguistics, including topics such as foreigners’ acquisition of Chinese aspect particles, loan words in modern Chinese and teaching of Chinese writing to foreigners, etc. The courses she teaches include conversation, speaking, listening, visual-audio-oral class, selected readings of newspapers, reading and writing, Chinese culture and cross-cultural comparative studies.
