Yang Huiyuan is a professor at Beijing

Speaking for Teaching Chinese as a Second Language(3rd Edition) (published by Beijing
Language and Culture University Press in 2020), and Classroom Teaching Theories and Practice(published by Beijing
Language and Culture University Press in 2007). He has authored/co-authored
many textbooks and reference books, including Elementary Crash—Course of Chinese Listening, Speed-up Chinese—Integrated Textbook, and Practical English-Chinese Dictionary, and published more than 40
papers. Prof. Yang was ranked as an “Excellent Teacher in Beijing” in 1993 and
1995, an “Excellent Teacher in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language” in 2002,
and a “Prominent Teacher in Beijing Colleges and Universities” in 2003.
